Japan Airlines announces flights between Bangalore and Tokyo Narita – business traveler

From June, Japan Airlines will operate one flight per week between Tokyo Narita and Bangalore, under the air bubbles agreement between India and Japan.

RBD / Class bookings – Bookings in class B and above for economy and in class C and above for companies will be open.

Categories of passengers eligible to travel:

  • Stranded Japanese passengers and their dependents.
  • All non-Japanese passengers with Japan PR and dependents will also be allowed on these flights, regardless of nationality. Japan Airlines will accept the reservation for Indian nationals falling into this category.

All passengers must obtain a negative Covid-19 test report with swab within 72 hours of departure. New visas are issued by the Japanese Embassy under special circumstances.

In addition to the negative report, passengers must also be provided with the Covid-19 test certificate. The certificate must be duly completed, stamped and signed by an authorized physician. All passengers should complete the necessary information in advance on the web questionnaire at the departure airport and show the QR code issued to you on the website to a quarantine officer at the arrival airport.

HND – DEL and NRT – BLR flights

RBD / Class Reservation – Reserve K class and above for Economy class and D and above class for Business will be open.

Indian and Japanese airlines operating inbound flights to India can carry the following passengers:

  • Indian nationals stranded,
  • All Overseas Indian Citizen (OIC) cardholders holding Japanese passports and foreigners (including diplomats) holding valid visas issued by an Indian mission in any category covered by the guidelines of the Ministry of the Interior (MHA), as amended from time to time.

There is a mandatory requirement of travel-related information / self-declaration / related documents by the passenger himself. Passengers should visit the self-declaration form.

A mandatory negative RT PCR report with the test performed within 72 hours of departure from TYO is required.

“In the event that a passenger is observed / deemed unfit to travel for medical reasons / or for any other reason related to health issues / competent health regulatory protocol not being followed and which can be observed / assumed to have an impact on the health of other passengers during an ongoing pandemic, may be denied boarding at the sole discretion of Japan Airlines. Therefore, Japan Airlines reserves the right to board subject to a physical health assessment, ”the airline said in an official statement.
