Japan Airlines joins airasia Super App OTA platform

Japan Airlines has joined the airasia Super App online travel agent (OTA) platform, granting direct ticketing authority for seats for sale on the app.

Under this new partnership, JAL flights will be available in the flights section of the airasia super app, with more than 132 domestic routes within Japan and 60 international routes, including seamless routes to North America.

JAL is the second Japanese airline to join the growing OTA platform, giving super app users more choices to explore Japan and beyond, right at their fingertips. ANA joined the app in May.

Apart from Japan’s JAL and ANA, the airasia Super App OTA platform also includes over 700 other airline partners with notable names such as Turkish Airlines, Air New Zealand and KLM, to name a few.

The platform also includes more than 700,000 hotels worldwide through partnerships with Trip, MG Group, WebBeds and more.
